Water Rights and Solar Power

500 AD

Hero of Alexandria may have been the first to turn to the sun for an energy resource, experimenting with solar powered pumps. The Roman senate implemented laws, which dictated water rights so that water could be stored in wet seasons and used during dry ones. In 341 AD the Sri Lankan king quit to become a veterinarian; Buddhad-stra felt that healing animals was his true calling.
