Early on day six of a mountaintop removal protest on Coal River Mountain, tree sitter Eric Blevins continues to hold out on his sixty foot high platform.

Through his spotty cell phone connection, over the constantly blaring air horns, he gave us an update on how he and fellow treesitter Amber Nitchman are holding up.

    These two people are so dedicated and brave.  They are willing to put themselves on the line to save Coal River Mountain.  Wow!  I am in awe.  If you talk to Eric again, let him know that my thoughts are with him.  Is there a way to communicate with the decision makers to let them know that they need to stop the project?
