Climate ‘Believers’ And ‘Deniers’ Get Punched In The face By Science

Scientific peer reviewed journals can often be a pretty cloudy body of text to sift through.  All politics aside, all policy aside, all pundits aside, the causes and effects of pollution can be hard to evaluate. 

Thankfully, one man lays out all of the science in plain english on the Internet.  Potholer54 is currently the 20th most-subscribed person on YouTube, and after you watch this series of ‘webisodes’, you’ll see why. He writes about all avenues of science, but it’s his climate science series that we’re particularly happy about.

I first found One of Potholer54’s videos while doing my own research of the notorious “climategate” scandal.  It was called “6. Climate Change - Those Hacked e-mails” and to my deeply regrettable reluctance, I didn’t ‘favorite’ the video so I could find it later.  Fortunately for me, I came across a column at Daily Kos that took me back there.  If you feel like you know someone who could use a little education on this issue, please share this around.

I should explain why we are showing this to you. TENTHMIL is not interested in controversy for its own sake or reactive arguing - we are about using the best science to find real solutions to serious problems.  The best solution we’ve seen to the growing CO2 problem is to make a transition to renewable forms of energy like geothermal, solar or algae. 

But if absolutely nothing with convince you that CO2 is potentially harmful to our planet, we implore you to investigate the “other carbon problem” - Ocean Acidification.
