Law Alert - Act to Save America’s Forests

H.R. 7090, S. 1897

The act to save America’s Forests is the most comprehensive nationwide forest protection and restoration legislation ever introduced to the US House of Representatives. It would stop clearcutting throughout our entire national forest system.  It would protect all of our last remaining ancient forests, old growth, and roadless forests with the intent to restore and preserve the native biodiversity.

The bill has the support from 600 internationally renowned scientists including Dr. Jane Goodall.
